Trash The Dress Ideas
Trash The Dress Ideas: Hit By Wave On Beach
The concept of trash the dress is a relatively new tradition and as far from the type of wedding your grandmother as you could imagine. Your grandmother would have kept her wedding dress in the hopes that her daughter or granddaughter could make use of it. Today, a wedding dress represents but a moment in time and brides now enjoy the process of coming up with trash the dress ideas.
Bride in Wedding Dress on Beach
Photographs of the newlywed couple on a beach in their wedding clothes is fantastic if you’re having a destination wedding on an island, but even lacking a beach, jumping into the pool is always a good trash the dress idea.
Bride & Groom Jumping Into Pool In Wedding Clothes
Planning ahead is always critical because once the dress is trashed or dirtied, it’s a bit tricky to go back and do it again. The couple and the photographer both have to be clear about what’s about to transpire. This way, photographs can be taken while the bride or the couple is about to get wet and then shots after they’re wet. Jumping into the pool is a good example. Make sure your photographer gets images of the couple in the process as well as well after the trash is complete. Jumping into the pool as well as while submerged.
Trash The Dress Ideas
No list on trash the dress ideas would be or could ever be complete. The ideas are infinite, but we should start with a few of the basics. A lot of my own trash the dress ideas occur around beaches, waves and water as a good portion of my wedding photography involves destination weddings to places such as Mexico, Cuba, the Grand Cayman Islands and Jamaica. Pictures you’ve seen on a previous page show Trash the dress photography and you’ve seen more photos on this page already, so the rest is purely “ideas”. Maybe you have or haven’t thought of these, but here goes:
- Bride and groom jump into a pool
- Bride jumps into a pool
- Bride and groom sitting on the edge of a dock
- Bride water-skiing in her wedding dress
- Bride and groom embrace while a wave crashes into them on the beach
- Bride and groom *insert unlimited possibilities on beach with waves here*
- Sitting in a tree
- trash the dress ideas are endless
The ideas truly are endless, but the basic idea is to get the dress dirty or wet, or both.
