North American Landscape Photography
Landscape photography is a genre intended to show different spaces within the world, sometimes vast and unending, but other times microscopic. This popular style of photography is practiced by professionals and amateurs alike. Photographs typically capture the presence of nature and are often free of man-made obstructions.
As a Landscape photographer, I usually attempt not only to convey the documentary aspect, but also an appreciation of the scenery that is being photographed.
From the majestic mountains of BC and Alberta, through the golden prairies and on to the Atlantic Ocean in the east, Canadian landscapes beg to be photographed.
United States Landscapes
A drive through the US from top to bottom and east to west is to travel through time as portrayed through the geography and landscapes of the American countryside.
